All Stars, Hope your Veteran's Day was memorable. Now it is time to get back to learning. We only have a seven days until our "Thanksgiving" break.

Parents, Guardians, and Students: NO TUTORING ON MONDAY 11.14.11

Students, please get your assignments done and submit them on time. This is particularly important for Compass Odyssey and the Gizmo assignments. We are doing better; however, there are a few students that are missing Exploration Guides and Assessment questions. Some are doing only half of the assignment, a few students are not doing them at all. Ensure you are completing both, the Exploration Guide and Assessment questions by the due dates.

Parents, Guardians, and Students, check to ensure you have completed the weekly assignments and are prepared to submit on Monday of each week. Great job to those students submitting these assignments on time and early! BOOM!

Students, Please note the change in the second quarter, "late work" will not be accepted. Ensure assignments are submitted by the due date, thank you.

Mon: 1 Hour of Compass Odyssey (MJ2 Module D) and Gimzo Assignment (Complete Exploration Guide and Assessment questions) due on 11.21.11. Start Gizmo after first class session on Wednesday, I need to explain it, unless you are confident you can complete.

Period 1A, 3A, and 4B
Math Connects Course 1 (MJ1: Adv Math)
Topic: Fractions, Decimals, and Percents.
Review Applying Percents (Markup/Discount and Increase and Decrease of a percentage). Chapter 5-4.
Complete Gizmo assignment and at least one hour of Compass Odyssey Module D due by 11.21.11

Homework:
Mon: 1 Hours of Compass Odyssey (Module D) and Gizmo assignment are due on 11.21.11 bring completed Exploration Guide to class. 4B due on 11.22.11, 1A and 3A bring to class on 11.21.11.

Tues: Study and Review Chapter 5-1,5-2, 5-3, and 5-4.

Odyssey Note:
ALL students are assigned Module C for completion by November 15th. Compass Odyssey is an assignment and you will receive an assignment grade based on your progress in the learning path and completion of assignments. Remember, 1 hour each week is the minimum. If you have questions or challenges with the assignments, please inform me as soon as possible via email. You guys are great, thanks for being All Stars!
